Discover our School

Our school respectfully acknowledges that we are located on the ancestral, traditional and unceded Indigenous territory of the Algonquin Peoples,
on whose territory we pray, learn, play and work.

The OCSB acknowledges the suffering experienced by Indigenous peoples in Canada's Residential Schools and is committed to Truth and Reconciliation. Read the OCSB Response to the Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action to learn more.

Spiritual Theme

The OCSB's spiritual theme for 2021-2024 is: Gratitude rooted in Joy, fills us with Hope

In each of the next three school years, our school will focus on a different aspect of the Spiritual Theme: Gratitude, Joy and Hope.

“My brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of any kind, consider it nothing but joy, because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.”

– James 1: 2-3 (NRSV)

Lunches and Snacks

Some children at our school have life-threatening allergies to some foods. Food containing nuts or legumes (such as peanut butter) will trigger these allergies - even if it is just present in the room.

In respect of the medical needs of these students, we request that parents do not send any peanut butter sandwiches or any products containing nuts or traces of nuts to school. We thank you for helping to keep all our students safe.

All school bus transportation is provided by the Ottawa Student Transportation Authority (OSTA). Visit the Transportation page of the OCSB website for more information
