Dear Parents/Guardians:

The well being of your children, you and our staff are our priorities while we seek also to ensure that school closures do not have a greater impact on the education of the students. As information around the Coronavirus (COVID-19) develops, we will update information for our families, parents, and students on our school website or via School Messenger.

Distance Learning Education

As schools are closed in response to COVID-19, we are committed to continuing to support your students' learning. The Board and Ministry of Education offers a number of ways for students to engage in learning even while they are away from school.

One of your child’s teachers will contact you this week in order to ask how they can help support your child’s learning during the school closure.  We encourage families to continue student learning at home. Educators will provide some recommended activities to the students that will not take the place of regular classroom instruction but will supplement student learning at home. Assignments will not be required or graded. These activities are meant to provide optional opportunities for student learning while they are absent from school.

We recommend providing structure for your child. At school, students get used to their days following a certain structure or schedule. Communicating with your children that they will have a structure to follow for the next two weeks will set expectations and set everyone up to make the most out of their learning time.

Although the school is closed, if you need to contact an educator or staff member, then please send an email to  or you may call the school  (613) 731-3541 and leave a message. It is very important that we can contact parents during the school closure. If your contact information has changed, then please call or email the school and provide us with your new information.
